Going Live

Email dev-support@chaiz.com or your account manager. We set up your account with:

• Branding at checkout: your logo, primary color, and button style.
• Your catalog: which plans, durations, and payment terms you sell.
• Rate limits for your expected volume.
• Attribution: your utm_campaign and, if you want one, your postback. See Postback and attribution.

You receive your UAT key now. Your production key is issued when sign-off passes in step 3.

Work through this list before you ask for sign-off:

• Search by VIN, by plate, and by make, model, and year. Handle the empty result and the coverage limit errors. See Restrictions and limitations.
• Latency: a 30-second timeout, a visible loading state, no retries on slow responses.
• Handoff: planCheckoutUrl and planSummaryUrl used exactly as returned, your campaign in tracking.queryParams on every search. See Getting credit for the sale.
• Your results page against the UI Requirements, and your detail page too if you built one.
• A test purchase on UAT with the test vehicle from the Quickstart.
• Postback, if you want one: agree the URL, method, and security option with us. UAT does not send postbacks, so you test it right after launch (step 4).

Send us the URL of your results page and, if you built one, your detail page, plus one test click through to checkout. We review them against the UI Requirements, confirm your campaign arrives on your searches, and read the legal lines on any detail page you built. If something needs changing, you get a short list.

When it passes, we issue your production key and confirm by email. Swap the base URL to https://api.chaiz.com and swap in the production key. The code does not change.

• For the first 48 hours we watch the traffic with you.
• If you have a postback, make one real purchase through your own link and check that the postback arrives. Tell us the order and we cancel and refund it.
• Sales show up on your postback shortly after they complete, on your Mixpanel dashboard in near real time, and on the monthly report.
• Changes to hosts, fields, or behavior are announced by email to your technical contact.
• UAT can be unavailable for maintenance without notice. Production is not affected.
